I absolutely love this information. It makes so much sense. Men are freaking out because they are loosing control. And testosterone is making them respond by pushing down. Which explains partly Trump. He posses as this hugely dominant man. So men will not push back against the alpha male. They will push down harder on women, including trans women, queers, POC, everyone they perceive as below them. It’s an awesome way to tie stuff together. Love love love.

Hey Lisa!! I am SO HAPPY to meet you, thank you so much for supporting my work! I hard agree on everything you said!

The most challenging aspect, from my perspective, is that hormonal responses can't be reasoned with to encourage change. There has to be an internal pivot that's powerful enough to shift how they fundamentally perceive status. That's why my goal is share insights and perspectives that help empower people to disengage from patriarchal people and men who are stuck in this toxic dominance/submission loop.

When we recognize these patterns as patterns being embodied, then it's easier (imo) to maintain boundaries and not over empathize or project well meaningness where it does not live (I'm very susceptible to doing that myself).

I truly believe that the best longterm path is to isolate and starve those patterns from attention and engagement as much as possible. Obviously, that approach is arm chair and not applicable to being in direct conflict or under direct threat from these ideologies. But I do believe long term, that only cultural/social isolation can inspire some to re-evaluate and move beyond these destructive impulses.

I believe feeling socially isolated in a sustained way is really only way SOME will engage with the self-reflection and deconstruction of conditioning necessary to break these loops.

SO happy to connect with you Lisa, thank you for sharing your perspective!!

I agree. My goal in life is to wake up as many people as possible to the evils of Patriarchy. I recently gave a deep dive on the deep history of the world, and what the archeological evidence clearly shows is that ancient cultures were either Matriarchal or Matrilineal. Patriarchy arose around 4500 years ago and destroyed almost all of these cultures. Which means Patriarchy is neither universal nor natural. It’s so widespread today because these patriarchy tribes invaded Europe, and Europe invaded the rest of the world, imposing Patriarchy. I’ll post my talk here shortly. I’m so glad I ran across your page. I plan on organizing an anti-Patriarchy warrior training program. Working on an outline now. We should talk, I think. FYI, I am a transgender lesbian Priestess of the Divine Feminine. Thanks for reading my Ted talk.

In Hunter gatherer society, the hunters were primarily men because men were genetically expendable. It also got young, aggressive males away from fertile breeding age females until they learned teamwork and had proven themselves able to provide for the community as a whole

Wow that's makes so much sense! Win win to get them out and make them develop skills of contribution and self control or get pruned in the process. Thanks for sharing this!

this is brilliant! i had never heard of this study before.

i wish we had more studies on estrogen because men AND women BOTH have testosterone AND estrogen but women typically don't "punch down."

tbh, i think there's more to the story about estrogen as well, but women can't get funding for research because, well, most men--and definitely patriarchy--just don't gaf.

i can't wait until more women millionaires reach threshold numbers and can start creating their own research labs.

I had never heard of this study either! I started prowling through Harvard's gender study portal and others to see what gems have been buried. Seeing how the orange administration is removing public data from the internet has inspired me to get my hands on as much gender research as possible now

YES, I agree a million times over! The worst part is how any research towards estrogen gets so manipulated by rightwing politics. Like, in Texas the same politicians that made the abortion bounty laws where anyone can sue a doctor who provides that medical care are now pushing for legislation to test sewer water for estrogen.

They're weaponizing environmental law to try to say that estrogen from birth control is poisoning the water systems in an attempt to justify banning birth control. WHICH IS NUTS! Estrogen in water supplies is generally caused by runoff from farming and cattle because we inject animals with so many hormones

There's so much to study and learn about but patriarchal nonsense poisons and weaponizes everything against women!
